YosoAmbrosio López GonzálezMadrid, Spain
I conceive of art as a means of analysing the human being, an attempt to approach the concept of identity from new perspectives.
Human beings exert a magnetic attraction on me that fascinates me and compels me to observe them in all their facets: flesh, bones and blood, movement, laughter, silence, screams… and what remains hidden. I feel the need to capture the sparks I perceive in them.
Many of my works emerge from dreams, fleeting visions or unexpected associations, giving them an enigmatic and, at times, surreal quality.
Digital painting is my starting point, but not my limit. I explore how an image can transcend the plane and become a physical experience through transparency, layers, light, texture, movement and space. All my works are unique pieces, edition 1/1. I work without the use of AI.
